MHCET For First Year Junior College (FYJC) Admissions – Crash Course

Patil’s Classes Coaching You For The New MHCET Examination To Get Best Junior Colleges In Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will be conducting a Common Entrance Test (CET) for just passed 10th board students, aspiring to take admission for 11th & 12th standard in junior colleges under Maharashtra State Board’s affiliation. The forms for its registration and exam forms are already available on their website at http://cet.mh-ssc.ac.in/ and the last date to register is 26th July, and the exam itself will be conducted on August 21st.

You just have one month to prepare for it, and studying 11th and 12th in Maharashtra State Board is generally advantageous to students who need flexibility in schedule for coaching classes, unlike CBSE schools where attendance is a must. As most of you are on and off with your studies for the past 1 year, your concepts are bound to be a little rusty.

Also, Maharashtra Board and CBSE examinations were cancelled this year for the SSC/Class 10th due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the results were prepared based on the internal assessment of student’s performance, which further elevates the point about the importance of it and how you might be underprepared for it.

“Patil’s Classes” has you covered on all fronts, and a one-month crash course specifically designed for the MHCET-FYJC exam pattern is underway at our Deo Nagar and Ramdaspeth branches.

Remember, that while the CET exam itself is not mandatory for any student, and all students who have passed Class 10th have been assured of an FYJC seat by the Maharashtra education board, first priority in admissions will be given to candidates who have appeared for the test. But, if you aim to get into the best junior colleges and you have even a slight doubt about your marks allotted by the board as per your internal assessment, we recommend you to take the test and enhance your chances.

The paper pattern in a comprehensive way is as follows, questions will be asked from the four major subjects up to 10th standard state board curriculum – English, Science (PCB), Mathematics and Social Sciences subjects, with each subject carrying 25 per cent weightage of marks, i.e. 25 marks of the total 100 marks. Questions won’t be asked from topics that were omitted from the curriculum in 2020-21. The complete chapter-wise syllabus has been released by the state education department through a notice issued about online CET, on their website.

So, overall it’s a crucial step for you to take which will lay your base for any entrance exam you might appear for in 12th standard, be it IIT-JEE or NEET. If you are clear with your goals and are sure about joining state board junior college for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), then it’s high time you start preparing for MHT CET for FYJC admissions.

“Patil’s Classes” is right there with you to tutor you for this exam and will bring you up to date with the concepts with utmost clarity, so that you score well. So join today and for any further details, contact Patil’s Classes HQ at 8668527581.
